But animal foods and meat don’t do either of these things!

The World Hoax/Health Organisation (WHO) also lists on their website that processed meats and red meats as a “Probable” carcinogen (WHO, 2015).

So how did one of the world’s most nutrient-dense and traditional foods become labelled as cancer-causing?!

Because of a ridiculous and poor quality study published in 2011 (Chan et. al., 2011), which used statistical trickery to manipulate study data to come up with a misleading finding. For example, this study looked at the Relative Risk of red and processed meats on colon cancer, colorectal cancer and rectal cancer only. The Relative Risk is a statistical measure of the probability of an outcome between an exposed group and an unexposed/control group. In this study, the researchers found for example, that there was an 18% increase in risk between those who ate red/processed meats who got cancer vs those who didn’t eat red meats. That is what raised alarm bells and caused the useless WHO to label red meats as carcinogenic!

But Relative Risk as a statistical measurement is very misleading, and can be deliberately used in studies like this to find a preconceived outcome when there isn’t really a true outcome. Better quality studies use the Absolute Risk measurement instead.

This study found the risk of people eating red meat and getting cancers was actually just 0.0438%!! A miniscule risk, which is not statistically significant on its own. The risk of people in the control group was actually only 0.0371%, being another insignificant and miniscule risk. But the difference between the control group RR result and meat-eating cancer group was 18%, hence their insane finding that “red meat causes cancer”! Even if the risk of both groups was so close to zero!

The Absolute Risk, being the ACTUAL risk of people who eat red meats, processed meats and animal foods and getting cancer was actually only 0.0067% - no risk at all! There was also NO evidence at all in this study which proved that red meats, processed meats or animal foods actually CAUSED cancer at all! Hence why people really need to know where these ridiculous beliefs come from and why people need to do their own research, and not just believe what various websites or influencers say.

Ironically, the study also highlighted that the rise in colon and colorectal cancers has coincided with economic development and a Western diet and lifestyle! Or in other words, colon cancer is not as common in less developed countries. But meats and animal foods are not just from modern development or a new concept! We’ve been eating animal foods and meats FOREVER! They are amongst the most nutrient-dense foods we can ever eat! The study is finding other possible clues and factors for cancers which are not what they are trying to blame their findings on…

Another interesting theory in the study to explain the issues with red meats and animal foods and cancer is related to the cooking of these foods! High temperature cooking of red meats or animal foods, especially on a barbeque or flame-grilled, produces a number of possibly carcinogenic compounds called Heterocyclic Amines and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Advanced Glycation End-products and Acrylamides. Ironically, in other studies, these cooking byproducts are also produced from over-heating or baking plant-based foods too! But let’s just blame the red meat…

So is the real issue of red meats and processed meats being associated with cancer (NOTE – NOT “causing” cancer), or is it how these foods are processed or COOKED that’s really the issue?! If so, again it’s NOT the red meat which causes the cancer!

A couple of reasons why I think the idea of actually limiting or avoiding meats and animal foods in cancer is a huge risk include the following:

1. Vitamin B12, only found in animal foods, is needed for your immune system function to produce the lymphocytes which are your natural anti-cancer white blood cells! You really want to make more of these to fight cancer
2. Vitamin B12 is needed for tissue repair and healing, including from cancer surgery, or even physical organ or cell damage from chemotherapy or radiation treatments
3. Red meats are high in iron, and in my experience, 80+% of people with cancer have low iron levels and/or anaemia… and the form of iron in animal foods is much more bioavailable and usable than from plant foods
4. Red meats and animal foods have a high protein content, which is also needed for immune system function, tissue repair and healing, and many other metabolic functions too, to help against cancer and for recovery
5. Red meats and animal foods are very low in carbohydrates, which are found in much higher amounts in all plant foods. Carbs metabolise into glucose, being the main source of fuel for energy and growth and progression of cancer cells. High carbohydrate foods and diets are known to CAUSE cancer as well as feed the cancer cells!

Hence avoiding or stopping intake of red meats and animal foods can have a huge detrimental impact on your immune system function and ability to reverse cancer and recover. This is why I do NOT recommend reducing or avoiding red meat consumption, or even other animal foods (other meats, fish, eggs etc) for the prevention of cancer, or after a cancer diagnosis.

There is another ridiculous belief that animal foods need to be avoided with cancer due to an alleged acidic effect of these foods. This is also untrue and will be discussed in another article soon!

As I usually say, from my experience, there’s ALWAYS a combination of root causes and factors in the development and progression of cancer, which can be a different combination of factors in each person. It’s NEVER just the one cause to cancer development. And it’s not from red meats or animal foods, when these foods have been eaten forever and offer a lot of health benefits!

Stay healthy!

References:

Chan, D. It’s like people (including doctors) think that as only men get prostate enlargement or prostate cancer, it must be due to testosterone levels, and especially from high testosterone levels! And as such, one of the medical “treatments” (and I use this word loosely) for prostate issues is a medication to block testosterone.

But if testosterone were the cause of prostate issues and prostate cancer, then EVERY male, boy or man would develop prostate issues! Especially more so in YOUNGER men and adolescents when their testosterone is at its highest! But this doesn’t happen as is proven in many published studies (Morgantaler, 2006).

So where did this belief of testosterone being linked to prostate cancer come from?

In a 1941 study on testosterone being linked to prostate cancer, which only used 3 men (!) and one man dropped out during the study and one man was already castrated (hence likely low testosterone), the scientists gave the 2 men testosterone injections (NOTE – not natural testosterone or checking on their own levels). The authors of this study based their findings on just one non-castrated man who had high testosterone, and doctors have been making “treatment” decisions on this poor quality study ever since…

More recent studies have NOT been able to prove that testosterone levels or even testosterone therapy/injections actually cause prostate cancer! In other words, NO studies have found that testosterone causes prostate cancer or increases its incidence! Testosterone causing prostate cancer is a MYTH from 1941, which is sadly still being followed and believed by doctors and oncologists now in 2026.

In my experience, I would say that only 5% of men who have been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate or prostate cancer are actually checked to see if they have high (or low) testosterone, before they are given testosterone blocking medications or even chemotherapy or surgery! But these medications are ridiculous and can produce dangerous side effects such as erectile dysfunction and impotence, development of man-boobs, low to no libido, increased weight and changes in body fat distribution to more like a female, reduced bone density, liver and/or kidney issues, and more.

Many of these side effects are the same as having high oestrogen levels, being the main sex hormone in females. But males are not supposed to have high levels of oestrogen, as it’s the opposite sex hormone for male body functions! Hence this is far more likely to cause or drive prostate enlargement or prostate cancer than testosterone. And many human and animal studies DO confirm this!

Prostate stem cells are known to have oestrogen receptors, in a similar way that breast cancer cells do, and why breast cancer cells (and other female organ cancer cells) respond to oestrogen for their development and growth (Nelles, Hu & Prins, 2011; Bosland, 2005). Rat studies have shown to induce prostate cancer in 100% of male rats with exposure to oestrogen or oestrogenic chemicals.

Males are not supposed to have high levels of oestrogen! But in my clinical practice, I insist that men who have enlarged prostates or prostate cancer, or even men in their mid to late 40s for proactive preventative reasons, should get their testosterone levels checked AND oestrogen levels too. I’ve ALWAYS found high oestrogen in men with prostate issues!

Where is the high oestrogen coming from or what is causing the prostate cancer?

There’s a number of sources of oestrogens in foods, our environment, and even within our own bodies. The sources of the high oestrogens can be a combination of a number of these sources and factors, and this can be different in each man with prostate issues. Detailed testing and investigations and questioning are needed to find the root causes and factors in each man. This is what I do! In this way, I can find and treat your specific causes and factors, for a more personalised and specific treatment and preventative plan. By checking for testosterone and oestrogen levels in men, especially in the later years (say 40s-50s+) prostate cancer can even be prevented!

If you know a man with prostate issues (enlargement or prostate cancer), please let them know of this info, and/or share this with them.

If testosterone isn’t the cause of prostate issues, as it appears to be, then testosterone blocking medications won’t reverse it, but will make symptoms and side effects worse.

Stay healthy!

References:

Bosland M. Chemotherapy, or chemical “therapy”, or in other words, doses of extremely toxic chemicals to try and slow down or kill the cancer cells. Unfortunately, it kills a lot of healthy cells and causes a lot of toxicity to all body organs, including to your immune system
2. Radiotherapy, or radiation “therapy”, or in other words, doses of radiation aimed at the cancer/tumour to try and kill the cancer cells. But also causes collateral damage to other cells and organs which surround or are close to the tumour too
3. Immunotherapy, or immune “therapy”, which is ironic really, in that you are typically initially given toxic chemotherapy medications to reduce (ie, to “wipe out”) your immune system’s white blood cells, then given new medications to “restart” your immune system to help it find the cancer cells again.

The irony is that all of these cancer “treatment” options can reduce or even destroy your immune system function, when your immune system is the MAIN thing which can really prevent cancer development and progression, or to kill the cancer cells!

Your immune system has several types of white blood cells, especially types of lymphocytes called cytotoxic T-cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells, whose purpose in life is to find damaged cells and cancer cells, and to kill them!

This shows the importance of improving the function of your immune system, and your white blood cells! Anything which affects your immune system function will increase the risks of cancer development and progression. And this includes the so-called cancer “treatments”. Or if you have cancer, it’s always a sign that your immune system hasn’t been working well to find and destroy the damaged cancer cells. That’s why people with cancer need more support to improve their immune system function.

There are many things which can affect the production of the white blood cells, so these causes and factors need to be found and then treated in each person, to improve your immune system function. This can then help to prevent cancer and/or treat and reverse cancer.

But all the medical “treatments” reduce your immune system function…

The other related issue with cancer is the importance of finding and treating all the root causes of cancer in each person. This is what I do for each person I see with cancer. But the medical approach to cancer is just to “treat” the symptom, which is the cancer itself, using chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Never do doctors or oncologists ask “why?” or look into what CAUSED the cancer. If you only look at “treating” the cancer itself, especially with things which reduce immune system function, you can almost guarantee that the cancer will come back. If it doesn’t come back in the same organ or tissue, it can come back elsewhere in the body due to reduced immune function, toxicity from the chemotherapy and radiation, and from not actually addressing the root causes of it.

Hence the importance of finding and treating all the root causes of cancer and low immune system function in each person. There are many known root causes and factors for cancer development and progression, which need to be identified in each person, for a true holistic and personalised treatment approach. This can give quick symptom relief as well as long-term resolution, and long-term prevention too!

Stay healthy!

Poor sleep quality or quantity can be a risk for cancer development

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/poor-sleep-quality-or-quantity-can-be-a-risk-for-cancer-development

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/poor-sleep-quality-or-quantity-can-be-a-risk-for-cancer-development#comments

Cancer

Causes of cancer

Melatonin

Sleep

So many patients I see have sleep problems, from difficulty getting to sleep (ie, sleep onset), restless sleep, interrupted sleep, and waking up tired for the next day. Like most things, taking medications or even supplements doesn’t fix the root causes or factors which are contributing to the sleep issues in each person. And different people can have different causes and factors to their sleep issues, so a different treatment recommendation is needed.

Poor sleep quality or quantity can lead to the following health issues:
1. Low energy and fatigue
2. Poor concentration and memory
3. Mood and behaviour changes, and worse mental health symptoms
4. Low immune function
5. Poor healing and tissue repair
6. Weight gain
7. Increased inflammation
8. Changes to many metabolic hormones including increased cortisol (stress hormone), increased ghrelin (hunger hormone), decreased insulin sensitivity, decreased leptin (satiety hormone), reduced testosterone and muscle protein production
9. Increased risks of cancers, partly due to the reduced immune system function and the other effects listed here (Zamfir Chiru, Popescu & Gheorghe, 2014)
10. And more!

There are so many factors which can cause sleep issues, that I could write a book on the topic! So I won’t go into everything here! One of the main factors or things we need for optimal sleep is for our bodies to make Melatonin, which is our “sleep hormone”.

The main thing we need to make Melatonin is sun exposure! We don’t make Melatonin from being indoors, but only from being outside! We don’t have to physically be in the sun and have sun on our skin to make Melatonin, like we do to make vitamin D, but from sun exposure through your EYES! Hence we can make Melatonin from being undercover or in the shade, or even if there’s a rainy or overcast day. The more time you spend outside during the day, the more Melatonin you make.

Melatonin is made in your pineal gland during the day from sun exposure through the eyes. Melatonin is stored in this the pineal gland until the sun goes down and again your eyes are used as sensors to detect the fading light, and your eyes signal the pineal gland to start secreting the Melatonin to help tell your body it’s soon time to sleep, and keep you asleep through the night.

However there are a number of factors which can interfere with Melatonin production including:
1. Wearing of sunglasses – this can block sun exposure into the eyes and reduce Melatonin production
2. Shift work – people doing shift work don’t get enough time outside during the day
3. Nutrient deficiencies can affect the production of Melatonin, even if you get enough sun exposure
4. Thyroid function, liver function, stomach function – all are needed to be functioning well for a number of metabolic functions in order to produce Melatonin.

Hence Melatonin production and sleep issues are a WHOLE BODY issue, and cannot be fixed from taking medications or supplements alone, including from taking Melatonin supplements.

In my experience, I find that 95% of the time that people try to improve their sleep with taking Melatonin supplements, it doesn’t work. Because the root causes of the sleep issues are not being addressed. This shows the importance of finding and fixing the root causes of sleep issues, and not just trying to address the symptom of poor sleep!

Melatonin as a natural hormone or in a supplement isn’t actually a sedative and doesn’t make you tired or sleep, or bring on sleep! It’s a circadian rhythm (day/night) regulator for your body, to tell your body WHEN to sleep.

Melatonin isn’t only just your sleep hormone, but it is also a major antioxidant in your body to reduce oxidative damage! As such, it reduces oxidative damage to cells and organs, reduces damage to immune system cells, reduces inflammation, and other benefits, all of which can reduce the risks of cancer development. A number of published studies do show many people with cancers have low melatonin levels (Zamfir Chiru, Popescu & Gheorghe, 2014).

If you have troubles with sleep, such as difficulty getting to sleep, interrupted or restless sleep, poor quality sleep or if you do shift work, or if you have any health issues alongside sleep difficulties such as weight gain, low energy or fatigue, mental health issues, or even cancers, then you need to fix your sleep issues for your long-term health. And many studies confirm this.

An Italian study followed 300,000 people for 30 months from 2021 and compared those people who didn’t take the COVID injections with those who did, for cancer admissions, as well as for other chronic health issues. For most types of cancers, the study found that those with even just one of the COVID injections had 200% the incidences of cancer compared to those who didn’t get the injection. For people who had 3 or more of the COVID injections, there were up to 250-300% increases in the incidences of cancer, and even 500% more for prostate cancer, compared to those who didn’t get the injections. The study found similar increases in other chronic issues in those who took the injections, for incidences of high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic lung disease and kidney disease too.

A study from Korea which followed 8 million people for 12 months, again looking at the rates of various cancers in those who didn’t take the COVID injections vs those who did (Kim et. al., 2025). This research confirmed the findings of the Italian study, that many cancer rates had significantly increased in 12 months after having a COVID injection, especially for cancers of the thyroid, stomach, colon and rectum, lung, breast and prostate.

These are not the only studies to find such large increases in cancers in people who took the COVID injections.

There are a number of ways that the COVID injections can cause increased rates of cancer (Valdes Angues & Perea Bustos, 2023, Seneff et. al, 2022), including:

Causing high and chronic inflammation from the lipid nanoparticles in the mRNA injections or from the spike proteins, which affects many body functions and reduces immune system function

Causing oxidative damage to different organs and cells, including the heart, thyroid, liver, kidneys, reproductive organs and brain, potentially leading to cancer in these organs

The spike proteins target the ACE-2 receptors on the cell walls of major organs and tissues, to get into cells and cause damage

Causing oxidative damage to your white blood cells – your immune system cells, to reduce their number, and distract them from their normal function of finding and killing cancer cells

Specifically causing lymphopenia (low numbers of lymphocytes, the type of immune system white blood cells which are your anti-cancer immune cells)

Inhibiting the normal cancer-suppressing genes that we have, including p53, BRCA and others which can prevent cancers, or keep cancer in check

Promoting activation of cancer cells through a number of different genetic mechanisms

DNA contamination in the injections, including the SV-40 cancer-promoting proteins

The COVID injections being shown in studies to change cellular DNA via reverse transcription, which damages DNA or causes mutations, which can lead to cancer development

Impairing other immune system functions, including interferon signalling, which can reduce normal cancer surveillance functions of the immune system

The constant and high production of the spike proteins from the injections isn’t able to be stopped or cleared naturally by the body, so studies have shown that people are still producing the spike proteins 3.5 years after their last injection. And the damage is higher with each injection you get.

In people with cancer and who had the COVID injections, any one of these factors can lead to cancer, but the big problem is that all of these factors together is devastating to your body, your health and your immune system function.

This is also why people who had previously had cancer or their cancer was in remission, their cancer returned or suddenly got aggressive and accelerated again. One study found up to 98% of cancers being reported as a side effect of all vaccines which were reported to the US’s VAERS database (of vaccine side effects) were from the COVID injections in just 2021 alone (Seneff et. al., 2022). In some cases of cancers reported in the VAERS database, 100% were from the COVID injections – bladder cancer, pancreatic cancer and ovarian cancer.

What can you do to either reduce your risks of cancer occurring, recurring, or to help treat an existing cancer which may be in part the result of the COVID injections?

All the root causes of cancer in each person need to be identified and treated or removed, and this includes the damage that the COVID injections are doing. The root causes and factors will be different in each person. Luckily there are things which can help with this! And this is what I can do to help!

Stay healthy!

References:
Acuti Martellucci, C., Capodici, A., Soldato, G., Fiore, M., Zauli, E., Carota, R., De Benedictis, M., Di Marco, G., Di Luzio, R., Flacco, M. This new study (Fink et al, 2026) suggests that while cancers are a leading cause of mortality and burden on personal and national health budgets, there are 30 modifiable factors which can greatly prevent or reduce the risks of cancer. As such, up to 30% of cancers in women, and over 57% of cancers in men are preventable!

Some of the modifiable factors to prevent cancer include smoking, alcohol intake, having a high body mass index (ie, being overweight), low physical activity, UV radiation, infections, exposure to various toxicities, and more.

But the study didn’t even look at foods or diets that people eat, of nutrient deficiencies or excesses as modifiable risk factors! So the cancer prevention rates are actually very much higher than stated above!

One study in the past, entitled “Cancer is a preventable disease that requires major lifestyle changes” (Anand et. al, 2008) looked at the cancer prevention rates in a different way, such as the percentage of cancers which may have a genetic cause compared to non-genetic or environmental and lifestyle (ie, modifiable) causes. This study showed that the largest modifiable factors for cancer development were your diet (30-35%), smoking (25-30%), infections (15-20%), and obesity (10-20%), but genetics only contributes a 5-10% risk to cancer development. Therefore 90-95% of cancers are driven by your modifiable choices! Hence in reality, 90-95% of cancers are preventable!

This information is important for prevention of cancers, but also in the treatment of cancers too!

When has a doctor or oncologist ever mentioned how you can reduce your risks of cancer, or improve your chances of recovery from cancer, by recommending dietary and lifestyle improvements which make up 95% of the causes (and treatments!) for cancer?! You can have all the surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments that doctors recommend, but if you don’t make environmental changes to your diet and lifestyle, you can pretty much guarantee that the cancer will come back. Nobody wants that.

I have detailed consultations with cancer patients, especially in the initial consultation, to ask a lot of questions to find all the root causes and factors for the cancer development and progression in each person. Then I recommend specific and personalised dietary, lifestyle, and other treatment recommendations. This gives the best possible outcomes for your cancer treatment.

See my website for more information and bookings.

Stay healthy!

References:
Anand, P,. In recent times since 2022, women can still get the CST test done via their GP or also now from a home testing kit. This article will explain why the CST test isn’t as good as the pap smear tests, and why the home test kit is next to useless and can actually be very dangerous for women.

The previous pap smear tests checked for abnormal cervical cells by a trained pathologist. But the CST will only check for the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), which is just one alleged cause of cervical cancer. The HPV testing in the CST is only done via computer. And the CST will only be required every 5 years instead of 2 years for the pap smear test.

The CST will still require the same uncomfortable procedure to obtain cervical cells as the pap smear, just less frequently. Only if the HPV virus is found will someone actually visually check your pap smear for abnormal cells.

The issues here are several:
- The CST test is only looking for ONE possible causative factor of cervical cancer, being the HPV
- The CST ignores all other possible causes of cervical cancer, so if you don’t have HPV, the cervical cancer will not get picked up until it becomes much more developed and serious and presents with serious symptoms.

Increased duration for recommended testing:
The less frequent testing (being a money saving measure, in my opinion), from every 2 years for a pap smear to 5 years now, is a major concern that will increase the risks of increased development and progression of cervical cancer.

I’ve had female patients who have gone from a negative test to CIN 2 or 3 cervical cancer within the 2-year repeated tests. But now it’s a 5 year duration in retesting...

If you are female and have a family history of female hormone or sex organ related cancers, or who have had cervical cancer in the past, you can and should retest much more regularly than 5 years apart. Even if there is no family history of cervical cancer but for ongoing health and prevention, you can and should test more frequently than these organisations say.

Home testing for cervical cancer:
Since 2022 the at-home testing kits for cervical cancer have been available (Cancer Council, 2024), but as you can see from the infographic of this article, the swab doesn’t even get close to the cervix for obtaining any worthwhile cervical cells (or cancer cells) to actually test. It’s just a vaginal test and not a cervical cancer test. It’s next to useless. Or worse, it can be very dangerous (and even deadly) if a woman actually has unknown cervical cancer, and tests her vaginal cells instead of the cervix, and the cancer remains unknown after the at-home test kit. Then because of the cost-cutting measures of the Cancer Council and government health budgets, the woman waits another 5 years to test again – so the cervical cancer can develop and progress much further and become far more serious, or deadly.

Women should continue to see their GP or Gynaecologist for a proper and accurately taken cervical swab, as well as other testing I suggest here.

No other testing recommended for cervical cancer:
Having the HPV virus and testing positive for this in the CST test, isn’t the only cause or factor for the development and progression of cervical cancer.

Research suggests that an HPV infection alone is NOT sufficient to cause cervical cancer! (Spurgeon et. Al., 2017). Cervical cancer, and other reproductive cancers in women, are related to female hormones and often an imbalance between the hormones oestrogen and progesterone. The same research also suggests that an immune system dysfunction and chronic inflammation are also equal causative factors in the development and progression of cervical cancer. This study says these other factors are mandatory for the development of cervical cancer. So pap smears or the new CST are simply not good enough screening tests for this type of cancer.

As a better preventative for cervical cancer, or other female cancers, or in fact ANY cancer, you can (and SHOULD) get your immune system function checked, inflammation levels tested, and female hormone levels tested regularly for a much better picture for the prevention of ALL female reproductive cancers, and for your overall health.

Summary:
I believe all of these changes to cervical cancer screening will in fact put more women at risk of cervical cancer, and developing more severe cancer due to less frequent testing, and will likely kill far more women as a result. More regular, more accurate, and more holistic testing is needed for the prevention of cervical cancer.

More women need to be informed of these changes to cervical cancer screening and the likely increased risks to cervical cancer. The more women are aware of these issues, and that additional testing is needed too, the less cervical cancer we may see due to prevention, or at least to catch it earlier. Please share this information to your female friends and groups to let them know!

Stay healthy!

References:
Cancer Council. Some people might even think that the cancer industry is a self-perpetuating and deliberate one... As most people die WITH cancer and not FROM the cancer - they die from their cancer "treatments" such as chemo and radiation.

This is why chemotherapy causes major side effects of skin and nail issues, hair loss, digestive issues (nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, and pain), mouth ulcers, loss of taste and smell, increased infections, fatigue, and other symptoms.

Never do the doctors look at trying to find the root causes of cancer in each person, but this is what I do for my cancer clients, as there are known causes which must be found and fixed to turn cancer around.

I do work with clients who are taking chemotherapy, and I make sure that any recommendations I make won't interfere with chemotherapy. But my treatments can help to reduce the side effects of the chemotherapy to improve quality of life.

Cancer research - do you really know where your donations are going?

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/cancer-research-do-you-really-know-where-your-donations-are-going

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/cancer-research-do-you-really-know-where-your-donations-are-going#comments

Cancer

Cancer funding

Cancer research

August 22nd is Daffodil Day, an annual fundraising initiative by the Cancer Council, for "research" into cancer. But first, some statistics - over 145,000 Australians are diagnosed with cancer each year, in one in every two men and one in every three women, which is increasing. The most common types of cancers are prostate and breast cancers, mainly being hormonally caused, and bowel cancer, melanoma and lung cancer too.

Tragically, cancer rates have massively skyrocketed in the last 4 years, for many different types of cancers. I have experienced this in my clinic. I wonder what change happened in the last 4 years to cause this?

In reality, cancer affects everyone - family, friends, children, and colleagues of those who know those who have been diagnosed and are suffering through their typical medical treatments.

What is cancer? The usual definitions say "cancer is a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body". But this definition is wrong, as cancer is NOT a "disease"!

My more correct definition is “cancer is a SYMPTOM of chronic and systemic dysfunction, toxicity and disease, which causes the cells to lack the ability to perform normal functions such as growth, metabolism and programmed cell death”. Therefore cancer is the result of whole body disease, not just of the tumour or cancer cells, which is the symptom of the condition. Hence treating the whole body is key to beating cancer and recovering! Treating each person as an individual is also needed, and treating all the root causes in each person as everyone’s causes of cancer are different.

It is a shame that a diagnosis of cancer is such a stressful, traumatic and scary one, when it really shouldn't be. Modern cancer treatments are built on fear of the worst possible outcome, and the suffering that we all see those undergoing treatment are experiencing. Again, a treatment really shouldn't be like this.

Today the Cancer Council want your money. Allegedly for research into improved understanding of cancer and for novel medical and pharmaceutical treatments to "cure" it. With the cancer industry making a $200 billion a year just in cancer medicines, I don't think we will see a medical "cure" anytime soon. But they still want your money to fund "research" to keep this industry going.

What will the Cancer Council do with your money? See the profit and loss statement in the attached pictures... in 2023, the Cancer Council Australia had over $31 million in income, from grants, bequests, donations, and products, but they spent just $305,113 or 0.96% of their income on research! That is utterly pathetic. They wasted 99% of their income and your donations on themselves and marketing to keep the organisation going... Your money is not going towards cancer research.

So no, I won't be contributing to Daffodil Day, or any other cancer "research" organisation.

I will instead, help my cancer clients by finding and treating the root causes of cancer, which are well known - and helping them with safer, less damaging, natural treatments instead.

Stay healthy.

References:
Cancer Council Australia. One in 7 men in Australia are diagnosed with prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Australia, being even higher than more well known and marketed cancers of the skin or breast.

While various cancer organisations keep begging for your money for “research” into finding a “cure” for prostate cancer, wouldn’t it be better to find the causes of prostate cancer and actually prevent it?

Well, the causes of prostate cancer are well known! But the causes, or combination of them, can be different in each man. There isn’t just one cause of prostate cancer. Sadly the medical treatments of prostate removal, chemotherapy or radiation therapy do not address the root causes of the cancer.

Similar to cancers of female organs, the male cancers like prostate cancer are also in part related to a hormone imbalance. That being issues of imbalance in the male sex hormones of testosterone and others. This isn’t the only cause or contributing factor to prostate cancer though, but it is a major one. But I’ve yet to see a GP or oncologist or urologist (prostate specialist doctor) do thorough blood tests into the male hormones or to find what might cause or explain the male hormone imbalance. But this is what I do in part for the men I see with prostate issues, including enlarged prostate. Enlarged prostate can be a risk factor for the development of prostate cancer, but getting regular or earlier blood tests can find problems before they become prostate cancer.

Just because prostate cancer appears to run in families with grandfathers, fathers, uncles and brothers getting prostate cancer in the same family, it doesn’t mean that it is genetic at all. The vast majority of cancers are only 5-10% related to genetics or being inherited. This means that 90-95% of cancers are ENVIRONMENTAL, which also means that they are related to your CHOICES – of foods, products and their chemicals, lifestyle factors, and more. This also means that 90-95% of cancers can actually be prevented!

If you have a history of enlarged prostate, or a family history of prostate cancer, or even neither of these issues as a man, but want to treat or prevent this, I can help! I focus on finding all the root causes of the prostate issues and all other symptoms and conditions too, and then treat and fix the root causes. This gives much better results of reduction of symptoms, long-term resolution and even prevention.

See my website for more information and for a personalised consultation!

Stay healthy!

References:

Cancer Australia. In recent times since 2022, women can still get the CST test done via their GP or also now from a home testing (self-collection) kit. This article will explain why the CST test isn’t as good as the pap smear tests, and why the home test kit is next to useless and can actually be very dangerous for women.

The previous pap smear tests checked for abnormal cervical cells by a trained pathologist. But the CST will only check for the HPV (Human Pappilloma Virus), which is just one alleged cause of cervical cancer.

- The CST test is only looking for ONE possible causative factor of cervical cancer, being the HPV,
- The CST ignores all other possible causes of cervical cancer,
- and the less frequent testing (a money saving measure?) is a concern.

I believe these changes may in fact put more women at risk of cervical cancer, and more severe cancer, and will likely kill far more women as a result. Abnormal cells found in the pap smear test are a better indicator of potential cervical cancer, so why the change?

I’ve had female patients who have gone from a negative pap smear test (the previous type of test) to CIN 2 or 3 cervical cancer within the 2-year repeated tests. But now it’s a 5 year delay in retesting...

Research that was available even at the time of the CST change (Spurgeon et al, 2017) suggests that an HPV infection alone is NOT sufficient to cause cervical cancer! Cervical cancer, and other reproductive cancers in women, are related to female hormones and often an imbalance between the hormones oestrogen and progesterone. The same research also suggests that an immune system dysfunction and inflammation are also equal causative factors in the development and progression of cervical cancer. Other research (in Oct 2017) says these other factors are mandatory for the development of cervical cancer. So pap smears or the new CST are simply not good enough screening tests for this type of cancer.

As a better preventative for cervical cancer, or other female cancers, or in fact ANY cancer, you can get your immune system function checked, inflammation levels tested, and female hormone levels tested regularly for a much better picture for the prevention of ALL female reproductive cancers, and for your overall health.
Ask me for details of these tests, for a better peace of mind.

If you are female and of reproductive age, or even in menopausal age, this information needs to be shared to inform others if the inadequacy of the CST testing and the risks involved. Please share this widely.

Stay healthy!

References:

Cancer Council. (2024). Self collection and the cervical screening test. While these are just some of the known causes of breast cancer, there are many others too. But it's also never just the one cause of cancer in someone - it's always a combination of a number of causes and factors.

Sadly some medical "treatments" or alleged proactive scans such as mammograms, contraceptive pill or HRT hormone therapies, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, COVID-19 vaccines, are also risk factors or causes of more cancers including breast cancer.

Why are the causes of breast cancer important?

Because if the root causes of breast cancer, or any cancer for that matter, are not found and then treated/avoided/removed, then almost guaranteed that the cancer won't go away, or it will return again shortly after surgery.

This is what I do that's different - with detailed questioning and investigations into blood test results in a more holistic way, I find all the root causes of cancer in each person. Then I recommend a personalised treatment plan to address all the root causes and other factors which contribute to cancers, such as anaemia, low thyroid function, low liver function, and more.

This is the only way to really treat and reverse cancers. This can be done in conjunction with medical treatments, or not, as is your choice.

For more information on how I can help, please see my website for contact details for a personalised consultation.

COVID-19 vaccines can increase risks of cancer development, progression and recurrence

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/december-09th-2025

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/december-09th-2025#comments

Cancer

Causes of cancer

COVID 19 vaccines

Root causes of cancer

I've been seeing these situations a lot in my cancer patients in recent times:- people who have previously had cancer, having a very rapid recurrence of the cancer- people with cancer in remission or progressing slowly, having a very rapid progression- or people who haven't had cancer suddenly developing a very fast growing cancer (very unusual) and getting diagnosed with an immediate Stage 4 (severe) level, which almost never occurs until these COVID-19 vaccines came out in 2021.These COVID-19 [...]

I've been seeing these situations a lot in my cancer patients in recent times:
- people who have previously had cancer, having a very rapid recurrence of the cancer
- people with cancer in remission or progressing slowly, having a very rapid progression
- or people who haven't had cancer suddenly developing a very fast growing cancer (very unusual) and getting diagnosed with an immediate Stage 4 (severe) level, which almost never occurs until these COVID-19 vaccines came out in 2021.

These COVID-19 vaccines do not improve immune system function, as the media and doctors claim. They WEAKEN the immune system response in several ways:

1) by destroying the immune system white blood cells
2) by causing chronic and ongoing production of the spike proteins which simulates a chronic infection with no off switch
3) the spike proteins cause chronic inflammation and oxidative damage to cells and many organs.
As seen in the video link, many studies are showing that the COVID-19 vaccines are causing a huge increase in cancers.

The good news is that there are detox protocols which can reduce the number of the spike proteins and prevent them from causing their damage. This can reduce the risks of damage to major organs such as the heart, liver, kidneys, thyroid, brain, and reproductive organs, which are all affected by the spike proteins.

Finding and treating ALL the root causes of the cancer in each person, is the basis of what I do. Al., 2024) found that a diet higher in omega-3 fats, compared to a standard Western diet, reduce the risk of prostate cancer development by reducing inflammation, improving immune system function, and also by improving cholesterol levels in some immune system cells. It is known that low cholesterol levels is a risk factor for low immune system function and cancer development. This study recommended a higher omega-3 diet and/or supplements, along with a reduced omega-6 diet
The second study, looking at colon cancer, suggests that cancer is the result of poor wound healing from inflammation (Soundararajan et. Al., 2024), and that chronic inflammation can be driven by a Western diet too high in omega-6 fats can potentially lead to cancers.

Omega-3 fats are called “essential” fats, as they are essential in our diets, because our bodies cannot make them. They are not just found in fish or fish oil supplements, but in wild caught or free range or grass-fed animal meats including beef and lamb (Daley et. Al., 2010).

In contrast, grain-fed animal meats, even farmed fish, will be higher in omega-6 fats, which can cause inflammation when the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio is unbalanced in the diet and in the body. This can increase the risks of cancer development.

Omega-6 fats are more found in many seed or plant oils including the following:
• Grapeseed oil
• Rice bran oil
• Sunflower oil and safflower oil
• Corn oil
• Cottonseed oil
• Canola oil
• Soybean oil
• “Vegetable” oil or shortening
• Many grains, nuts and seeds.
And of course grain-fed animal meats are high in omega-6 fats.

These processed plant oils and sources of omega-6 fats should be reduced or avoided in your diet, and instead eat more sources of omega-3 fats. Not just for cancer prevention, but for your overall health.

Stay healthy!

References:

Aronson, W.J., Pei L., Jardack, P., Liddell, A.R., Perez, C., Elashoff, D., Said, J., Cohen, P., Marks, L.S., & Henning, S.M. The study refers to the contamination as “impurities” as they are known and predictable substances from the manufacturing process, compared to contamination being from external environmental factors.

This study only looked at the DNA contamination of the COVID-19 vaccines and not other contaminations which have been identified in other studies. DNA impurities were found in every vial and batch tested, and the amount of DNA contamination was extremely concerning.

One of the things which should typically be seen in pharmaceutical medications and vaccines is exactly the same amount of the ingredients in each dose and in each product in every batch. Otherwise, it could be dangerous if a dose of a product was in excess of what is prescribed or approved, or not of any benefit if the dose was too low. Medications and even supplements are approved by regulatory authorities, such as our TGA, on the basis of a standard amount of the ingredients. If there is any deviation from the approved ingredients and amounts, the products are typically recalled and investigated.

The regulators allow a tiny amount of DNA in COVID-19 vaccines, such as 10 nanograms (10 billionths of a gram), but these mRNA vaccines contain up to 62,700% HIGHER levels of DNA contamination than is allowed. In the Pfizer products, there was up to 15,300% higher levels of DNA contamination, or 62,700% higher for the Moderna products.

This level of contamination alone should be enough for the regulators in each country to recall and ban these products. But what is worse is that DNA contamination in the COVID-19 vaccines can increase the risks of cancer development and progression in people who had these vaccines. This is because your body is not meant to be exposed to foreign DNA, especially via vaccines. Non-human DNA in the body in this way can integrate with your DNA and cause autoimmune issues and cancers.

Even worse is that one of the types of DNA contamination is called SV40 which was only found in the Pfizer vaccine. The SV40 DNA sequences were only added to the Pfizer products AFTER their initial approval from the regulators, after they changed their production process. So the product that was approved was not what the public received, and again the product should have been recalled on this change. SV40 is the Simian Virus 40, a known cancer-causing DNA virus from monkeys which induces brain and bone cancers, malignant mesothelioma (a lung cancer), lymphomas, and likely other cancers too (Vilchez & Butel, 2004).
SV40 can cause cancer in a number of different ways, by weakening the immune system response, by inhibiting several of our “tumour suppressing genes” such as p53, which can then promote cancer development, and also by directly inducing cancerous changes in cells. Now you know why there’s been a massive increase in the number of cases of cancers in the last 4 years, since so many people had these COVID-19 vaccines.

Other concerns with these mRNA vaccines found in this study is that different batches of the vaccines appear to have different amounts or levels of the ingredients, and hence why some batches cause extremely high numbers of serious adverse events, and even deaths, which were reported to the regulators, ranging from 17% of reported adverse events per batch and even up to 86% or 95% of some batches were causing reported side effects. These reported adverse events don’t include cancers as this side effect doesn’t appear until later.

If you, or anyone you know, has had cancer in the last 4 years since getting these COVID-19 vaccines, part of the treatment plan MUST include a treatment to reduce and remove the chronic inflammation, oxidative damage, immune system damage, and genetic damage that these mRNA vaccines are continually causing to promote the cancer development. This can be done and will put the brakes on further cancer development, and even start to reverse it.

These COVID-19 vaccines must be stopped because of the damage they are causing to people and families. The regulators around the world, including our TGA in Australia, perhaps need to be aware of these issues so they can investigate further. The science is already there to show the issues with these vaccines, but we likely need public pressure to force them to act on this. The TGA’s website for reporting issues with the COVID-19 vaccines can be found here - www.tga.gov.au/resources/resources/forms/report-medicine-or-vaccine-defect

Use the above information here and published study references at the end of the article if needed, to get them to investigate these issues further.

Stay healthy!

References:

Hulscher, N. They “treat” cancer by removing it with surgery, poisoning it (and the whole body) with chemotherapy, or nuking it with radiation. Doctors and oncologists never look at finding what the causes of the cancer are in each person.
Why are the causes of breast cancer important?

Because if the root causes of breast cancer, or any cancer for that matter, are not found in each person, and then treated, avoided, or removed, then almost guaranteed that the cancer won't go away, or it will return again shortly after the treatment.

But I hear people ask – but we don’t know what causes cancer! Yes we do!

The media, doctors, and cancer charities often say they don’t know what the cause of cancer is, and hence why cancer charities want your money for research to find the cause of cancer. The most important word there is “THE” cause of cancer. Singular. They are trying to find ONE cause of cancer or ONE treatment for cancer, but there is no one cause of cancer and never will be one treatment for cancer.

The World Health Organisation has 534 causes of cancer on their website! I know some more from published studies which are not on their list.

The causes of cancer in each person, from my experience, are always a combination of root causes and factors, and which can be different to other people, even with the same type of cancer. Hence the importance of finding all the root causes of cancer in each person.

This is what I do that's different - with detailed questioning and investigations into blood test results in a more holistic way, I find all the root causes of cancer in each person. Then I recommend a personalised treatment plan to address all the root causes and other factors which contribute to cancers in each person, such as anaemia, low thyroid function, low liver function, low immune function, inflammation, and more.

This is the only way to really treat and reverse cancers. This can be done in conjunction with medical treatments, or not, as is your choice.

For more information on how I can help, please see the rest of this website for more details or to book a consultation!

Pink Ribbon Day for cancer awareness just promotes unhealthy foods which cause cancer

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/pink-ribbon-day-for-cancer-awareness-just-promotes-unhealthy-foods-which-cause-cancer

http://www.cancernaturopath.com.au/articles/pink-ribbon-day-for-cancer-awareness-just-promotes-unhealthy-foods-which-cause-cancer#comments

Cancer

Cancer fundraising

Cancer promotion

Causes of cancer

Some companies and cancer charities will never learn... October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October 13th is Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and October 21st (today) is Pink Ribbon Day (for breast and gynaecological cancers), to raise awareness of these diagnoses, and to raise funds for cancer charities for "research".

In reality, these awareness days are a means for these cancer charities to raise funds to keep the organisation in existence and to pay for the bosses and staff, rent, and their expensive marketing. Very, very little actually goes into research or any benefit to those who have cancer. I previously wrote an article on this topic and I investigated the financial reports of the major cancer charity organisation in Australia and I found they only spent 0.9% of its over $30 million dollars in donations, actually went into research. Less than 1%!

A national bakery chain, whose name will remain anonymous here, pledges 100% of sales from their pink buns from their event in May to go to the Breast Cancer Network Australia. Many people will think this is a good cause and want to help reduce incidences of breast cancer, or to help those who have the condition.

But the BCNA and other cancer organisations are fundraising by using unhealthy products which ironically cause and contribute to the very condition that they are trying to prevent! Sugar in excess can be one of many causes of cancer, and sugar as glucose is the main source of fuel for energy and growth of cancer cells! Sugar also reduces immune system function, causes inflammation and oxidative damage to the body, all of which can hugely increase the risk of cancer development and progression. Hence for cancer prevention and treatment, reducing and avoiding sugary foods and drinks is essential. Most of the products or foods promoted in cancer fundraising efforts for cancer organisations or charities are full of sugar, chemicals, or high carbohydrate grain-based foods which break down into sugar in the body.

This practice of "pinkwashing" of promoting very unhealthy products for cancer research is insane and ironic, but unfortunately very common - see some of the article pictures for ridiculous examples of pinkwashing of very unhealthy foods, all for the benefit of raising funds for the cancer organisations.

Support cancer charities in other ways if you must, but please don't buy these "pinkwashed" products that can put you or someone at risk of cancer, or make their health worse. Or perhaps better, donate to your own health program, to prevent or reduce your risks of cancer. Until such time as the cancer charities actually put a significant amount of their donations into real cancer research and real cancer treatments, including the many natural and safe options, I will not be donating a cent to these cancer charity organisations.

Stay healthy!
